If elected as one of the three Councillors for Dale Ward I will;
represent you at the Council and help you with any Council issue no matter what your political persuasion.
work amicably with the other 2 Councillors that are elected in Dale Ward.
vote on Full Council matters that are in the best interests of the taxpayer and as an independent, free from party politics and political dogma.
bring to your attention any excesses that a political majority run Council may try to impose without seeking proper public consultation.
call for public meetings for major planning applications that could seriously effect the residents in our area.
continue my record of saying no to new developments on greenfield sites.
campaign for the plans for the Brough Relief Link Road to Melton, South of the railway line, to be reinstated with its original provision of commercial uses, to encourage employment and NOT the recent plan that includes more houses, which will lead to more pressure on our local schools and doctors.
call for greater support for the elderly, either at home or in care.
call for all designated urban areas in Dale Ward to receive upgraded street scene services, as the likes of Hessle, when it comes to street cleaning, grass cutting and general tidiness by the Council.
call for improvements in the Gritting our roads this Winter.
- Campaign for more facilities for the young in our area.
vote to protect our village libraries, as education is for all.
make myself available to discuss any Council issue, no matter how trivial you may feel it is, at a time that suits you at your home or place of work.
not make any expenses claims for food, office facilities or car mileage to and from County Hall, Beverley, or to any Parish Meetings in Dale Ward, of which I would normally be entitled to.
keep you updated on local issues either by localised newsletter, email or via this website.
